Danity Kane and Dollhouse Celebration

August 18th: Last night marked the celebration of the new Danity Kane for Dollhouse denim line. Dollhouse, one of the most sought after fashion brands in denim jeans for girls and young women, and features Dollhouse apparel, the Paris Hilton Apparel Collection, and soon Danity Kane. MTV was also there filming their reality series Making the Band produced by P. Diddy (notably not in attendance). However Bad Boy Record’s executive VP Harve Pierre was there along with other notable media, and music industry professionals. Aubrey, Dawn, Shannon, Aundrea, and D. Woods came out to celebrate. Those girls have worked with everyone from Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Mario Winans, to Diddy himself.
Dollhouse recently launched Dollhouse.com. Their online shop which emulates the existing Dollhouse website with a unique visual design and color scheme. Dollhouse was founded in 1995 and is distributed throughout the United States and internationally in better department and specialty stores, and has a youthful and trendy attitude.
I walked into the small midtown showroom and was immediately asked to sign a release for MTV in case they decided to use my image for the realty show. I found this to be odd since their cameras were completely fixated on the five girls the entire time. Nuvo, which is a combination of sparkling vodka and sparkling French wine infused with natural fruit nectar, was on hand. And P. Diddy’s Ciroc (naturally).
The event was very informative. The Danity Kane girls looked great! They came they sang and impromptu version of their single “Damaged” which has been all over the radio, they did some promo spots for Extra, and other outlets, and they were off to a Peta shoot. Guests took home their latest CD “Welcome to the Dollhouse” which I will be sure to listen to later.
You can find the latest information regarding Dollhouse events and news, advertising campaigns, new collections, and retailers in their area, all on Dollhouse.com
Cheers,
Mo
