January 28th: After checking out the Brides Magazine 75th Anniversary Party it was off to another amazing event venue-The MoMa! The Museum of Modern Art is actually a great and unique event space and my third time partying in a venue that as a teenager I had had many school trips to. I have been to events held at the Museum of Natural History, the Gugenhiem, and now it was time to party at the MoMa! The occasion for this soire was the 400th anniversary and celebration of Dutch and American relations, and what a fantastic party it was! 400 years ago Henry Hudson, Captain on a Dutch ship landed in the area hat would become one of the largest and most recognizable cities in the world New York City. The NY 400 event was great, and all I can say is that the Dutch know how to party! Guests included Matt Lauer, and others. The crowd was classy (what was Mo doing there? Don’t know but I thoroughly enjoyed myself) and the drinks were fantasitc.
I made my way into the event and noticed that although the second floor was open everyone remained packed together on the first floor. Why? I think it might have had something to do with the fact that you were not allowed to bring your beverge to the second floor because of the art. Whcih goes to show you..Mo isn’t the only person out at these events with her priorities in order!
Cheers,
Mo
