Old Navy Event at 1 Oak

March 4th: It was a late night at 1Oak with the usual party enthusiasts crowd, Mo, models and the men who love them, Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg (possibly more celebs who knows that place was packed!), and some of the creepiest mannequins i have ever seen in my life! Have you ever been to an event and have not been 100% sure of what it is for?
Tuesday night was one of those nights for Mo. However I do know that it was a chance to party it up at 1Oak until the wee hours of the night, catch up with old friends, and take in the illustrious open bar. What more could a girl ask for?
How about not going to an event that a zillion people showed up for! It wasn’t all bad because I had just been at the PR Design Group: 6 Year Celebration which was located literally upstairs from 1 Oak so when that party winded down i was able to make it to 1 Oak at exactly 10 pm. We grabbed a table by the fireplace and set up shop. The drinks flowed including my drink of preference champagne.
On my way from our seats to the bar I noticed that there were some of the scariest mannequins set up throughout the event sporting Old Navy clothing. I think that after i had had a few i mistook one for a person and asked it to get out of my way several times. I became a little upset when it was ignoring me and grabbed it’s shoulder only to realize it was indeed a dummy. It was dark, it was crowded, mo had been drinking-whoops! However the venue became packed rather quickly causing me to make her exit.
Guests were treated to gift bags courtesy of Old Navy on their way out. The men were given t-shirts and the women were given cute tote bags. Just another random night out on the town in NYC!
