It was a star studded affair at the rooftop terrace on 5th avenue on Thursday May 28th. Stars like Orlando Bloom, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Claire Danes, Rose McGowen, Helena Christianson, Lilly Donaldson, Jason Long, Molly Sims, Carla Gugino and others came out to celebrate the lighting of Burberry’s new 50 foot logo, dance to music by British band “One Night Only” , and most importantly party!
Thanks in part to the establishment of The Burberry Foundation and a $50,000 donation to local youth projects, Mayor Bloomberg declared yesterday “Burberry Day” in New York. I was in pure awe of all of the gorgeous celebs in attendance, and despite the gloomy weather I trekked all the way east as this was an event NOT to be missed. I spent most of the night dreaming of Orlando Bloom whisking me off to an exotic island..oh if only dreams came true! Another great night out on the party circuit.
