In the words of Andy Warhol,” I never think people die. They just go to department stores. “  The M2 Ultra Lounge (or Mansion) isn’t Bloomingdale’s, but I’m sure Andy’s soul was there.  The intimate space hosted Christophe Von Hohenberg’s book signing closing reception. Christophe has worked with American Vogue, French Vogue and Interview along with Vanity Fair, and many other publications.  Christophe’s first assignment for Vanity Fair was shooting mini skirts in mourning. Mourners included Yoko Ono, Bianca Jagger and Diane Von Furstenberg. And the photos have not been seen until now.

The celebration of Christophe’s project brought art enthusiast to 28th street on June 4th. The event recognized Christophes Von Hohenberg as an internationally known photographer and author.  The small space forced journalist, stylist and New Yorkers to mingle and drink check out the art and then naturally drink some more. The  piece that  focused on Bianca Jagger stole the show. With pearls on her neck and a trench coat  in her arm  Bianca marched into Saint Patrick’s Cathedral mourning death and celebrating Andy’s life. Christophe’s Bianca Jagger piece is covered in black and purple..which seemed to be in Andy Warhol’s style. Andy Warhol: The Day the Factory Died highlighted exceptional individuals,  Andy’s death and Christophe Von Hohenberg’s accomplished career.
