Absolut Vodka Unveils a World of Exceptional Experiences

Absolut Vodka thre a celebration at the newly opened Stage 37 last night. Many of New York’s “Party Enthusiats” came out to celebrate, including the recently very M.I.A. Mo!
Known for her distinctly bold and playful adaptations of fashion and beauty photography, Ellen von Unwerth captured Kate Beckinsale and Zooey Deschanel’s characters as they are immersed in different cocktail worlds. The drinks profiled include the iconic cocktails that made the brand famous, like ABSOLUT Bloody, ABSOLUT Cosmo, ABSOLUT Twist and ABSOLUT Crush, as well as a new recipe to be revealed in the coming months. My favorite of the night was, without a doubt, the Absolut Crush, made from1 ½ parts ABSOLUT MANDRIN, 3 parts fresh squeezed orange juice, and 1 part Hiram Walker Triple Sec.
I arrived at the venue fairly early, and quickly made my way in. There was already an amazing turnout to the event which has just begun. Waiters were serving up Absolut’s new signature cocktails in the lobby, however I decided to make my way into the venue to see what was going on. The very happy crowed was made up of party enthusiasts, models, and the people who love them.
The music was pumping and the crowed seemed to be having a great time! Upon entering my attention was quickly shifted to the live dancers on the stage who stood in front of the Absolut advertisements. I could only assume they were Go Go Dancers although I am about 90% sure I saw one of them give a partygoer a lap dance.
In the corner Absolut set up a room where mixologists Bartenders (I made the mistake of asking one of the guys if he was a “mixologist” and he preceded to tell me that mixologist was an asshole term and Bartender was more dignified) taught guests how to make signature cocktails. However, they made the drinks so quickly I didn’t have time to observe how to do it myself. I suppose I can learn by checking out their website. The only bad thing about the event was the complete absence of food (No food+ Booze= Toasty). However a great time was had by all. Thank you Absolut!
