Social Exposure Media is known for their fantastical soirees, filled with over-the-top bells and whistles, but on Tuesday evening, they tapped into their softer side. They threw a fete for their furry friends, hosting a charity cocktail for Mighty Mutts, an all volunteer no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating the strays of New York City.

“Who doesn’t pass dogs on the street and wonder how to help the ones who don’t have loving owners?” says Associate Producer Dara Avenius, who helped pull the event together. “This is a way we can all give back to the most innocent creatures amongst us.”

Sponsored by Whistle Pig Whiskey and Petaholics, the event was held at the ultra swanky Mister H Lounge (run by Armin Arimi of Bungalow 8 fame) at the Mondrian Hotel in SoHo. Animal-print clad guests sipped cocktails amongst the Shanghai-brothel infused with vintage hodgepodge decor, while DJ Heather M kept the partying going with mixes of today’s hottest tunes.

At the end of the night, guests received a “doggie bag” filled with treats: delicious Vosges Chocolates, a 35% discount code for the coveted Piret +Tamara makeup, and 20% off any hair service at Madison Avenue’s Warren-Tricomi Salon and soaps andmoisturizers from L’Occitane (which, we’re happy to learn, does not test their products on our furryfriends!).

Hopefully, one night of our debauchery will result in several upcoming warm nights for homeless animals.
