PARK & BOND is a new online men’s store built from the ground up to reflect the way men shop, merging a curated selection of the world’s best brands with a continuously-updated mix of editorial content designed to give guys the inspiration and advice they need to look their best. The name references two of New York’s most stylish streets—Park Avenue and Bond Street—which together embody the mix of classic and contemporary that defines men’s style right now.
On the overall feel: “Whenever someone asks me ‘what’s the first thing a guy should put in his closet?’ I always say gray flannel, so we took that approach in some of the colors, and details, like this sitting area. It’s a guy’s shop, so we have the great vintage motorcycle, and the TVs so we can host an NFL event on Sunday. I think it’s super masculine, and clean without being sparse.”
On curating the shop: “While we would have loved to bring in all the great fall stuff we have at Park & Bond, it’s a holiday shop, so we went mainly with great outerwear pieces that people can wear now, items someone might pick up for a vacation like these Orlebar Brown trunks, and then gift items like accessories: watches, sunglasses, and shoes.”
On his favorite pieces: “I love this Simon Spurr wool peacoat; it’s beautiful. It might be my favorite item in the shop right now. I also love these Grenson ‘Fred V’ wingtip boots. They’re perfect for a night like tonight when you want to be a little dressed up, but it’s nasty outside and you need some protection.”
The store is located at:
414 W. 14th Street, Between 9th Ave. and Washington St.
And will be open:
December 9-18 (closed December 12 & 13)
Sunday-Wednesday, 11:00am-6:00pm;
Thursday 11:00am-8:00pm;
Friday-Saturday, 11:00am-10:00pm
Cheers,
Mo
