On February 25th, 2012, Heineken will present The Legends Of Hip Hop BUA Experience in celebration of Black History Month, with a cultural art experience and Legends Party at Brooklyn’s Free Candy Gallery hosted by artist BUA.
The Experience will feature legends and influencers throughout the Hip Hop and artistic community with a private collector preview, interactive art experience, DJ showcases and a book signing by BUA.
The Experience will include Bua’s portraits from the Legends of Hip Hop series, exhibitsfrom other notable urban Artists and interactive art experience. To conclude the day, there is a nighttime Legends Party presented by Heineken and hosted by Master of Ceremonies’ BUA with special guest performances from “The Legends of NYC” including Dres from Blacksheep and Jarobi from A Tribe Called Quest. You can also expect sets from some of NYC’s most legendary hip-hop DJ’s.
Justin BUA is an internationally known artist who grew up in the Upper West Side of NYC between Manhattan and Flatbush, Brooklyn. Growing up as a street artist and professional break-dancer, BUA was always fascinated by the raw street life of NYC and integrated that into his art and writing, which gained him an impressive fan base. The Experience gained inspiration from BUA’s second book The Legends of Hip Hop, a definitive word and view of the culture from BUA.
