Coney Island to Invade Upper West Side

From rhinestones and mermaids to sword swallowing and contortionists, on Saturday, October 6 at 10PM at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street), Coney Island will invade the Upper West Side at the GOTHAM BURLESQUE Coney Island Spectacular! which will feature 12 thrilling acts from New York’s best and brightest burlesque and variety performers.
The cast of the 10/6 show will star The Queen of Coney Island BAMBI THE MERMAID, Coney Island Sword Swallower THE GREAT FREDINI, Contortionist EKATERINA, Holder of 36 World Records THE GREAT THROWDINI, The King of Boylesque & First Ever Mr. Exotic World TIGGER!, The Sultry Siren of Burlesque MISS HARVEST MOON, The “Twisted Shockmeister” SCOTT BAKER, Hula Hoop Artist JUSTINA FLASH, Burlesque Stars NASTY CANASTA, GRACE GOTHAM and CHERRY LA VOIX, and Comedian and Singer JULIET JESKE. The 10/6 show will be hosted by SHELLY WATSON and also features Stage Kitten Extraordinaire DANGRRR DOLL.
Presented by award-winning filmmaker, artist, and producer Gary Beeber, GOTHAM BURLESQUE is an exciting evening of song, dance, tricks and visual treats that plays The Triad each month with a different cast at the intimate Upper West Side venue, offering audiences a taste of a wide range of live entertainments from both established and up and coming performers and acts.
Gary Beeber is an award-winning American filmmaker whose documentaries Dirty Martini & the New Burlesque, Bally-Master, and Messenger have screened in over 50 festivals and won countless awards. Prior to devoting his energies to documentaries, he was a photographer and producer of art videos shown in 70 galleries and exhibitions worldwide, and several of his works are in corporate collections here in the city at Goldman Sachs, Pfizer Pharmaceutical and Chase.
GOTHAM BURLESQUE plays at the Triad Theater (158 West 72nd Street), with the October performance taking place on Saturday, October 6 at 10pm. Tickets are $49 for premium seating and $37 for general seating and can be purchased online at www.GothamBurlesque.com.
