Rebecca Taylor: New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 Runway

Rebecca Taylor‘s Spring 2013 collection was not showcased at the Lincoln this year instead it was staged at the Highline Stage in the meatpacking district. The main colors were of a sherbet palette.

Celebrity attendees included Katharine McPhee (Smash), Sami Gayle (Blue Bloods, Detachment), Robert Verdi (TV personality, stylist), and Louise Roe (TV host, model).

The collection was inspired by summers past: sun faded tropical prints, ikat- polka dots and sunset inspired pinky nudes.  A soft neutral palette highlighted by punches of sherbet hues.  Diaphanous chiffons, luxurious silks and textured soft leathers take the form of modern yet playful silhouettes, setting the mood for a relaxed refinement.

After the show, I headed backstage to greet Rebecca and to finally meet the amazing PR director of Rebecca Taylor!

Spring 2013  is much stronger than Spring 2012. Do you agree?
