Tadashi Shoji: New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 Runway

September 6th kicked of the official first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. For the 5th season, I am attending again this year to cover the shows for SociallySuperlative.com.
Tadashi Shoji, who’s been showing at the Lincoln Center since MBFW moved from Bryant Park to Lincoln Center, showcased a very pretty collection. A very consistent collection that plays off Fall 2012. If you take a closer look, you can see some of the same prints/fabric from Fall 2012.
I predict we are going to see more sherbet palettes and bold prints again this season. I am more excited at the prospect of a new trend on the horizon. As one lady put it, “This is the season of romance. Everyone wants to be wooed.”
Looking at this collection, I am already there.
A combination of Victorian and Cocktail Glamour, I am looking forward to see who will don the first look from this collection.
