We’ve heard that this season’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was bringing skin and cutout pieces galore to the runway shows , but seeing is believing!  Former architect-turned-fashion-designer Angel Sanchez of Venezuela has taken the trend and translated it to this year’s “it” dresses.  We just know these will be seen on the red carpet come awards season!

With structured dresses showcasing architectural shapes inspired by the Rafael Barrioss sculpture suspended over the presentation runway, each of the looks seemed to evoke a different emotion.

We were in awe of the ethereal pieces that shimmered in the light and featured flowers or soft draping. and felt instantly energized by the vibrant colors and dramatic cutouts used to show off the silhouettes.

The designer made his way around the room and greeted his fans, supporters such as Tinsley Mortimer and press alike with a gracious appreciation for attending the show.  The future is bright for Angel Sanchez!

Cheers,
