Jené DeSpain Jewelry: New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 Presentation
Fashionistas and fashionistos took a break from the runways yesterday evening as the lovely and talented, Jené DeSpain, presented her Spring/Summer ’13 jewelry collection at hotspot, 1OAK on September 13th.
The season’s statement, ‘loud, luxe and signature’ was presented on three different tables. The table displays showcased the collection, and surrounding the tables were models dressed the part.
The first table, signature, was the most fun. Models were dressed circa the 1960s and emitted a bohemian, laid back vibe. The jewelry at this table was full of arrowheads, structured shapes and pops of color.
The second table, loud, was just that. Models rocked the most major poofs I have seen to date, electric blue leather pants, smoky eyes and deep purple lips. Pieces on this table were more edgy and included dangerous points and eccentric shapes. The display was complete with a mirror and rolled up twenty dollar bills. Point taken!
The third table, luxe, exhibited models dressed in black eveningwear, hair in high buns, and stained red lips. The romantic pieces were presented on and surrounding a gorgeous bouquet of white roses. More statement pieces were found on this table, a standout being a beautiful onyx and royal blue necklace.
A bevvy of buyers, photographers, models and fashion elite walked the room browsing the collection and enjoying an open bar compliments of Finlandia.
A fabulous event and an exquisite collection by Jené!
