The Musical Momentum concert series now gears up for its upcoming Shattering Silence: for Sexual Violence (to benefit P.A.V.E.) at the Metropolitan Room on Sunday, October 21st, 2012 at 9:30pm.
This event follows the very successful True Colors & True Colors 2.0 concerts held for the Trevor Project in April and July. The Musical Momentum Concert Series is being produced by Jason Morris with Angelica Page, in association with Barbara Ligeti.
This new concert event will feature live performances by various well-known Broadway and cabaret performers to raise money for PAVE (Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment). Performers already on board will include Broadway/Off-Broadway performers such as Angelica Page (The Best Man, August: Osage County), Johnny Stellard (Evita), Zoie Morris (Ragtime), Antoine L. Fisher (Memphis), Ashley Flanagan (Prometheus Bound), Gretchen Garvin (Nat’l Tour: Annie Get Your Gun), and Francesca McGrory (Freckleface).
Cabaret performers will include Jason Morris, Sidney Meyer, Gretchen Reinhagen (Bistro/MAC/Nightlife Award-winner), Billie Roe (Bistro Award-winner), and Grace McLean. Six-time MAC Award and Bistro Award winner Tracy Stark will be serving as the evening’s Musical Director.
Special Guests includes The Village People’s Randy Jones, and some other fantastic Surprises.
