Right now, nearly three million New Yorkers are having difficulty affording food. The Food Bank For New York City is there with a solution. The Food Bank is serving our most vulnerable neighbors by providing a meal today, resources for a more secure tomorrow and nutrition education to help them lead and sustain healthy lifestyles.
The Food Network New York City Wine Food Festival is a charity event. 100% of the net proceeds benefit the Food Bank For New York City, fighting hunger in the five boroughs; and Share Our Strength®, a national nonprofit working to end childhood hunger in America. In 2011, the Festival raised more than $1.2 million for these charities, helping them better provide for those they serve and closing the gap on hunger in our country.
Astor Hours Cocktails at The Public Theater with Andrew Carmellini & Friends was a can’t-miss late-night cocktail crawl through the newly revitalized downtown landmark hosted by chef-in-residence Andrew Carmellini. Master Mixologist Willy Shine and his hand-picked brigade of cocktail trailblazers featuring Andy Seymour, Justin Noel, Tim Cooper, The Dutch Kills Crew & many more transported the crowd one cocktail at a time through the eras of speakeasies and gin mills to deep soul, piano bar and underground acid jazz.

Meah Pace performed in Joe’s Pub alternating with DJ Jennie Wasserman and DJ Shaun O Rourke aka dj ‘O’.
The food was a mix of classic and signature American bar snacks including tapas from Tertulia’s Seamus Mullen, and cicchetti from Hearth & Terroir’s Marco Canora, and sweets from Locanda Verde’s Karen DeMasco of SoHo’s Dominique Ansel.
