To help get you in the Halloween Spirit, Alphabet City’s beloved Austrian tavern, Edi & the Wolf, will be serving up the Wolf’s Blood cocktail.
Created by chefs Eduard Frauneder and Wolfgang Ban, the blood-red cocktail is made with rye whiskey, Italian vermouth, blood orange liqueur and bitters. The spooky sip will be available starting this Saturday until Wednesday 10/31, and guests willing to howl like a wolf will get to drink it for free.
To note*– Next month, chefs Eduard Frauneder and Wolfgang Ban will open The Third Man, a cocktail bar down the block from Edi & the Wolf, serving chef-driven cocktails and Austrian-inspired small plates.

- 2oz Rye Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Punt e Mes
- 1/2 oz Solerno
- 1 Dash Angustura Bitter
- 1 Dash Regans Orange Bitter
Build in a mixing glass and stir, serve in a stemmed glass with flamed orange peel
