Generation Nxt Committee

Autism Speaks for Sandy with Generation Nxt threw a party last week to top all of the young and vibrant charity events of the season. Benefiting Autism Speaks and victims of Hurricane Sandy, the evening began with a sumptuous dinner at the trendy Meatpacking District restaurant Abe & Arthur’s, followed by an after party at nightlife mainstay, club SL.  Guests came together to raise funds that will assist families affected with autism who have faced hardship due to Hurricane Sandy.

Partygoers enjoyed a night of revelry, dancing and cocktails, with sushi provided by Lure Fishbar and meatballs provided by The Meatball Shoppe.  Everyone mingled over cocktails and table service downstairs at the nightclub and enjoyed the beats of 8-year old DJ Fulano during the after party.  The rising star spinster has been making his rounds at the hottest clubs in NYC, and kept the dance floor busy throughout the night.  The Gorilla Cheese food truck handed out warm and comforting grilled cheese sandwiches to attendees as they left SL — the perfect treat for the cab ride home…or the “After-After” party at nearby Avenue Lounge.

The charity has raised more than $60,000 that will go directly to families in need.  Autism Speaks and Generation NXT extends special thanks to sponsors such as Seeker, Kobrand, EMM Group, Champagne for Life, Key 2 Luxury, and Global Trust Charity.

Cheers to giving!
