I think you should leave the event postings in the middle section as well as the side. I have the feed on my google homepage but only the middle section shows up there. It is also easier to tell what is new. :-)

Wow, Open bar Cocktails, video games, and pretty girls all together. I think I might have a heart attack if I had time,

But The Big Apple Bash is tonight from 7-10, and then Hiro’s Open bar with Adam Free lander from Soul wax spinning… then god (and my ability to pace open bars) willing, I’ll catch bloc party at Warehouse in Williamsburg, my stomping ground before 3.

Also… The most hilarious thing happened. I got an invite to a Diesel line release last week at the headquarters. Gorgous space, awesome Hors D’ Ouvres, very pretty people (adults) but when I got there it was a joing party with Baby Couture. I’ve never been comfortable drunk near kids. I didn’t even know there were still children in New York.

What a great sounding organization! I had never heard of a bereavement center that deals with much more than the grief process and the emotions associated with grief, but many people after a significant death need to find a way to put their lives back together for the future. I talk about this in my book available at http://www.strategicbookpublishing.com/walkingthroughthevalleyoftheshadowofdeath.html
since it is usually not talked about very much.

Hair is the only show that I’ve ever seen that felt like an experience. The cast aka The Tribe is excellent, the production is fantastic and the songs sound better then ever. The shows themes (Sex, War, Drugs, Race) are as relevant today as they were forty years ago. The best part is the bond that the Tribe forms with the audience. It resonates with everyone long after they’ve left the theater. I urge all theatergoers to order tickets, participate in the show and dance in the finale. You will never forget the Hair experience.

The sound was bad. U must not have been to the previous R&B Live showcases at Spotlight. I didn’t matter if Puffy was on stage, the industry crowd was always runnin their mouths. It was more of a social networking thing rather than a showcase cuz nobody shut their mouths when someone hit the stage. At least you could see Stars/celebs in the audience at Spotlight… I hope it gets better.

this sandwich shop is great!! At first the menu seems small, but i’ve eaten here 2 out of the 3 days its been open and what i can say is that the sandwiches are consistently yummy. In my opinion it is nothing like a bahn mi shop there breads differ and what’s in between the bread isnt your usual “bahn mi” fare. The design is sharp and unique, kinda feels like a sandwich shop on the jetsons cartoon. My favrioute sandwich is easily the BBQ BEEF followed by the Lobster roll…then again the pork is pretty damn good. Guess i have to go back and try the other sandwiches. I don’t eat pork (bummer), one item I cant eat on the menu.

I’m new to this. Do you have age limits for your customers? I bet you don’t wanna deal with people having heart attacks while going through the maze, right? lol

  121. Carol Jean Clark on Sat, 26th Sep 2009 5:34 pm

Blood Manor is not recommended for children under 14 years of age and is certainly not appropriate for young children. It is designed to be “cutting edge” in presentation and content. While children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, there will be no refunds after a ticket is purchased and a patron has entered the manor.

The cast of Blood Manor is trained not to touch any patron. Likewise, you will be instructed not to touch any actor or any of the props or decorations in the Manor. If you do, you will be immediately removed from the attraction by security personnel and no refund will be given.

Blood Manor is not recommended for people with heart or back problems, pregnant women, people prone to seizures or anyone who has an affliction that is made worse by fear, anxiety or flashing lights.

You can find more information at http://bloodmanor.com

I’m an actress in the Manor so I can personally tell you that I went through it before I even had thought of working there… I couldn’t speak the next day because I had screamed so much. It was so fun I decided to work there… it’s just that awesome.

    Dear Von and Socially Superlative
I hope you are well. I wanted to share with what we did with Lolli Popitt at the Roger Smith Hotel leading up to their runway show last week. We have just started a Social Media Pop-up shop out of the hotel and Lolli Popitt was our second installment.
    http://panmanproductions.com/2009/10/lolli-popitt-at-the-roger-smith-hotel/
We will be showcasing new designers and filling the store with young entrepreneurs every couple of weeks. It would be great to keep in the loop regarding upcoming installments in hopes that you might reblog our content.
Please know I can help you. Talk to you soon.
    Thanks

Girls Night Out by KMR Communications
at Bruno Jamais Resturant was pure energy.
Cherie and Marie creators of G2organics
were helping spread the good energy by giving away samples of there product a non toxic, oderless organic Reiki charged nail polishe remover. They also gave eiki and crystals to the crowd. The media liked, the positve vibe, during these times. The fact that a portion of there sales is going towards cancer research is a bonus. There glass tower glowed
with crystals lights and glass bottles. Breathtaking! I enjoyed myself.

I was in LA when I saw Cirque Berzerk. They weren’t bad, but were naughty, if that what you mean. I’d see ‘em again, but I’d get the best seats possible next time.

The event of the season for me would have been the preview of Windows 7. I’m not even buying a new used Vaio laptop until Windows 7 is built in or grows up (at least one service pack).

Great article. I also attended the Urban Girl Squad styling event on Thursday and had a blast! I learned about what colors work best for my warm skin tone and which cuts would help emphasize my best curves and assets. Amanda and Silfath were great hosts. We all got to sip on a glass of wine while we listened and asked numerous questions. The group of women in attendance were very supportive and encouraging of each other. I would definitely go to another Urban Girl Squad event.

Another great thing about this styling event is that everyone who attended gets a FREE 1 hour consultation with Silfath!

Brilliant! Engaging and fun! Watched it several times to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Never seen anything like it and hope to see more of this type of genius advertising. Whoever came up with this concept is on the cutting edge and the right track to a stellar career if they aren’t already there.

I grew up with a father in advertising, seen a lot of behind the scenes, would have loved to have seen this one being filmed, created.

This made ME want to go dance around the store! This is maybe not the most creative response you will receive but it is what I have to say…

  151. Arianna on Thu, 10th Dec 2009 3:32 pm

I love how they integrated what was on the screen with what was actually happening in the theater! It was very cool when a person would walk offscreen and onto the stage. Daffy’s definitely hit the mark with this campaign!

It made went to get out bed and go shopping. It show how fun it is to shop and dancing around can be. When the person came out of screen and dance live it made you want to get up on stage and dance with than. They were having fun. It made you want to be apart of the show.

  154. Marta B. on Fri, 11th Dec 2009 10:47 am

DAFFY’s campaign by Johannes Leonardo is an eclectic mix of American Apparel style with iPod chirography and an ending that included look-a-like Fruit of the Loom mascots performing the Thriller. Does the formula work? Well, it did got me thinking about the tie-dye snake skin satin socks.
